Bozenski serves as the Chief Development Officer and oversees the Development department. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University of Ohio and her master’s degree in clinical social work from New York’s Columbia University. This weekend's 1 in 36 guest is Alex Prizgintas! Alex is a local Hudson Valley musician, author, historian, lecturer, and more. He is currently the president of the Woodbury Historical Society. Alex graduated from Marist College in 2021, his major was history with a minor in Hudson River Valley Studies and a concentration in public history. He is currently pursuing his Masters at Marist in Public Administration. Alex is passionate and well versed in many different topics ranging from milk bottle collecting, dairy farming, glass production, Orange Country railroads, and more. Alex is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and synesthesia. He plays the cello, and is looking to reach a new goal this year - 100 bookings! This weekend's 1 in 36 guest is Paul Perea. Paul is the co-author of Josh's Friends, a children's book about a little dragon with a lot of heart who learns about friendship. Paul's co-author is Joshua Goblowsky. Josh suffered a traumatic brain injury at the age of three, but he hasn't allowed his disabilities restrain him in the least! Josh has published two books, and has a third currently in the works! 100% of the profit from Josh's books are donated to Sunshine Foundation, the original wish granting charity in the United states. Joseph received his BA in sociology & psychology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He has been in the ACI program for 6 months. Teresa is from India, and holds a Bachelor's degree in special education, and a Master's degree in Social Work. She is currently a PhD scholar at Christ University in Bengaluru, India, and she is doing her research in the field of Autism & Special Education! She has been in the program for almost 12 months! Fahim is from Bangladesh, he received his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Dhaka. His passion for working with individuals with autism started during his internship for BRAC, where he worked with many different individuals with different disorders. This weekend's 1 in 44 guest is Jamie Bishop! Jamie is a co-owner and brewmaster at Mill House Brewing Company (MHBC) in Poughkeepsie, NY. Anderson Center for Autism (ACA) & MHBC have partnered together for the past 9 years for Autism Awareness/Acceptance month. Each year MHBC brews the Mr. Anderson Ale, "beer with a cause!" and they donate $1 of each pint sold back to ACA! We also annually host the Mr. Anderson After Hours event to kick off Autism Awareness/Acceptance month at MHBC.
